At Canterbury Consulting Spain, we pay special attention to teaching English to children and adolescents aged three to fifteen years old.
We give our children’s classes the highest importance not only in terms of educational material used (books, games, stories, audiovisual material) but also the quality of the teacher, who must know how to motivate the interest and creative capacity of the students according to their age and personality.

Teaching approach:

Based on a primarily communicative method, the educational plan for teaching English as a Second Language is personalized, in each case adapting to the objectives and level of the child or adolescent.

Just like the rest of our educational team, English is the native language of the teaching staff who gives classes to this age group. Furthermore, they hold British and/or American University degrees, in addition to the TEFL Certificate, having been selected for their teaching experience and their excellence in language teaching.

Canterbury Consulting Spain has taken special care with the educational material used in classes for children and adolescents. Our library has a wide range of material (films, videos, songs, games, pastimes, arranged by group and level), not only Spanish but also British and American adapted to Spanish children (Sesame Street, Disney, Tellytubbies, etc.)

At the end of the school year, as with adults, we give a certified diploma with the hours studied and level reached according to the child’s age.

Canterbury Consulting Spain has great experience in teaching English, and in the preparation of our teachers who give classes in nurseries, preschool, public and private education, rural and urban camps, as well as providing conversation assistants for the bilingual education system of the Community of Madrid.

We have an Educational Consultancy to study each case, elaborate an English programme for children´s classes and the orientation of social and educational resources.
