In each case, and in accordance with our educational system, we develop a personalized English language training plans for companies, which cover:

• In-company classes, customized to the needs of the managers and employees, in groups or one-to-one, from General English to Business English specific to the each sector of the industry.
• TEFL-qualified native teachers specialized in the linguistic objectives of each company, using the latest teaching materials to achieve the best results in the least possible time.
• Monitoring of attendance: take down the class attendance of all the students included in the English training programme.
• Progress reports: the companies are made aware of the progress of each student in all language skills: oral and written comprehension and expression.
• Level tests: individual exams for each student. We organize the groups according to their levels, develop training plans and modules, and provide preparation and orientation about specific exams: TOEFL, TOEIC, First Certificate, Proficiency, etc

This includes grammar, vocabulary (general, professional, every day/ colloquial), reading and writing of a variety of texts, correct pronunciation, and recognition of different accents and expressions of the more important English-speaking countries.

We offer nine levels of English classes:

Each level of our classes will last approximately 120 hours. It is broken down into modules of 40 hours, organized according to the schedule of the students (we recommend an average of 2-3 hours each week). It is also possible to take Intensive Courses in 40/60 hour modules.

In all cases, the in-company English classes are supported by teaching aids and materials that are recognized in the field of teaching: CDs, DVDs, cassettes, videos, Internet, etc. We use a wide range of textbooks, books, magazines, and newspapers that are suited for general English or Business English purposes. Our teachers pay special attention to the practice and use of English in class through debates, presentations, simulation of real-life situations and role plays.

In addition, students and teachers can rely on the support of the Canterbury Club activities, talking points, and interesting cultural and leisure activities which take place regularly, which involves students and teachers. These activities are conducted in English, thus facilitating the use of the language in a natural context.

IN-COMPANY CLASSES: EXAM PREPARATION

1. TOEIC (Test of English for International Communication): Designed by ETS (Educational Testing Service), is internationally recognized for its effectiveness in providing and assessing real communication levels. Selected by more than 4.500.000 students and required by more than 200.000 companies and universities worldwide. Our students may take this exam in Canterbury Consulting Spain.

2. FIRST CERTIFICATE and CAMBRIDGE ADVANCED CERTIFICATE: These are specially designed exams by the University Of Cambridge Local Examination Syndicate (UCLES) to establish a standard of efficiency in a wide range of academic and professional fields. This exam may be performed by students in our language training programs.

3. TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language): Increasingly sought after for its great objectivity, is an official test that measures English proficiency of non-native speakers. It is required by most American universities for all foreign students. This test can be performed by the students of our training programs.

4. IELTS (International English Language Testing System): is a certification that accredits the English level of non-native speakers, and is a requirement to enter universities in English-speaking countries. This test can be performed by the students of our training programs.

5. Official examinations: air traffic control, pilots, flight attendants, teachers, positions in Public Administration, Autonomous Regions, etc. Our students will be perfectly able to pass these tests.
